Working With Supplement Assignments

Supplement assignments are locked estimate workfiles created by an insurance company staff appraiser, or independent appraiser company.

Supplement Assignments appear in your Workfiles Search Results screen. From there, open the workfile, and then create a supplement in order to add any changes. When you have completed writing the supplement and attaching files, lock the supplement in order to send the workfile back to the insurance company or IA company.

To work with a supplement assignment

  1. Open the workfile.
  2. Select the Notes tab, and review any assignment notes.
  3. Select the Estimate tab.
  4. Click on the Create Supplement button from the toolbar.
  5. Make any necessary changes to the workfile including adding images and documentation to support the changes.
  6. Click on the Lock Supplement button from the Estimate tab. Be sure to complete any required actions if prompted.
  7. Select Save or Save and Close.
